Bouteloua gracilis (Blue Grama)
$ 4.39
Blue Grama is a short native grass that produces attractive seedheads. It makes an excellent lawn substitute in sunny areas. It is often planted with Buffalo grass to create a sustainable alternative to turf grasses. It can also be planted alongside wildflowers to create a prairie landscape. It reaches about one foot tall when in full flower. Blue Grama turns tan when dormant.
Blue Grama can be used as turf, in a prairie or meadow landscape, or as an accent in a perennial garden.
