Prairie Petunia sports showy lavender to purple flowers in the heat of the summer. It is short and has a sprawling growth habit. It can reach 2 ft but usually stays under 1 ft tall.  It reseeds readily.

Prairie Petunia is a host plant and a wonderful addition to perennial beds or borders, naturalized areas and woodland gardens.
