Tradescantia tharpii (Dwarf Spiderwort)
$ 15.98
Also known as Tharp’s spiderwort.
Dwarf Spiderwort is a low-growing perennial with three-petaled flowers that can be purple, blue or pink. It forms a dense mound of green foliage. It blooms in early spring and re-blooms periodically in the summer. It grows best in well-drained sandy loam or clay loam soils as long as the drainage is good. It can go dormant in the summer as a natural defense against the heat. It attracts honeybees and bumblebees.
Dwarf Spiderwort is a great addition to a rock garden or perennial border.
