Snake Herb features lavender flowers in late spring or early summer that attract butterflies. This native perennial is drought-tolerant and requires little water after establishment. It is a slow growing perennial that makes a good ground cover in sun to part shade.
Snake Herb does well in a variety of soil, provided it has good drainage. It spreads by underground stolons.
