Drummond’s Clematis is a woody, twining vine. It features attractive white flowers with yellow stamens. Male and female flowers occur on different plants. When the seeds mature, the female vine is covered with masses of silky, feathery plumes.
Drummond’s Clematis is cold and heat tolerant and it grows in a variety of soils and habitats such as grasslands, scrub oak, fencerows, and along streams and slopes. Give it lots of room, as it will cover sizable portions of fences or other plants.
