Lacey Oak is an attractive small to medium-sized tree with peach-colored leaves in the spring and fall, and dusky-blue to blue-gray in the summer.

Lacey Oak is very drought-tolerant once established and needs good drainage to thrive. It will survive on well-draining clay soils, but does best on well-draining limestone soils. It can be planted on raised beds or berms in higher rainfall areas.

Lacey Oak is slow-growing and oak wilt-resistant. The leaves are rarely bothered by insects or disease. It grows well on limestone and rocky soils and works well in a xeriscape or low water use garden.
